Combining forums

I decided it’s time to get back to my quest to optimise and simplify the forum layout.

How does everyone feel about me combining the CFNF, CMNF, CFNM and Only One Naked forums into a single “One-Sided Nudity” forum?

There’s not much activity on any of them and we could start a thing putting CFNF, CMNF, CFNM and OON at the start of each topic title to make it clear what the content of each new topic is (I’d add that to the forum description).

Just as an aside, opportunities to get involved with nude events/projects even less with the latest lockdowns/Covid measures…but I’m there in spirit.

I’m looking for others to combine too, especially those that haven’t been very active.

Anything that hasn’t been contributed to in over a year I’d be inclined to close or amalgamate.

I’m not going to get rid of the participation and questions forums. Once we get out of lockdown, those become very useful again. The other one is the Ladies Only forum, which was requested by several female members. I don’t know what to do about that. I was hoping its existence would encourage more female members to get involved but, so far, it hasn’t worked.

I was scrolling through the list of members and there quite a few that have never been active, or haven’t been active for well over a year.  Is it worth deleting the Never active accounts?

I delete about 20 every day. I can’t remember when this was discussed but 12 months was agreed on as the time-limit for inactivity. It’s tricky to do as forum posts don’t appear on the activity log.

I’ve finally got around to amalgamating the CFNF, CMNF, CFNM, and Only One Naked forums into a single forum. I suspect that will be the last big change to the forum structure.

There’s one forum combining left to go, but you can probably guess what that one is going to be.

That’s weird. I’ve written this post twice already and each time I’ve posted it, it just disappears!

 

Yesterday, I finished combining forums and reducing the total number down. There may be more to go in future, but I have no plans for that yet. Hopefully the current layout is easy to navigate and clear to new arrivals on the site?

Now I’m wondering if I should move the Naked Dare Challenges forum into the “Naked Participation” category?
