I hope it is okay to post a new member topic. I’m Paul, 68, a nudist and exhibitionist who has just discovered the site and community. I’ve also become a community supporter in the hope that every little helps. I’d welcome contact from and discussion with other members and will take part in some of the dares and post pictures.

        Best wishes to all.

            Welcome to NEC 🙂

That used to mean National Exhibition Centre — here’s what it would be like if our participants accidentally went to the Birmingham place instead of here.

            NEC at National Exhibition Centre

That’s a great photograph Harry. Perhaps we should have a Naked Experiment at the NEC?

                    I was thinking that myself.

But I imagine hiring NEC for even a few hours would be just slightly beyond our budget.

ps — it’s not a real photo. https://community.nakedexperiment.com/forums/topic/ai-image-generation/#post-17332 and the thread that contains it will give you a clue.

AI – I see now. It’s obvious it is once you know. Instead of the NEC we could hire a village hall somewhere!

A village hall somewhere would probably be affordable.

                        Norfolk Village Hall (fake)

All you need then is to identify a hall and the three young ladies in the picture. Persuading them to come back some time will be the hard part. Its less likely there would be a shortage of men.

Preferably before 11th June if it’s in the Norfolk area, because Greater Anglia has much reduced off peak prices for tickets booked before 12th April 🙂

You’re either a railway buff, or you live in the area Harry?

Yes, it can do better (with a lot of effort) but it generally concentrates on the foreground.

If I needed more detail in the background for something important, I would probably try to generate the faces separately as large faces and merge them in a “proper” graphics program. It sort-of defeats the aim of AI, but disguises the fact that I can only really do “engineering” type drawings myself. Resistors, capacitors, assembly diagrams etc. But not faces 🙁

As I said in the other thread, any “intelligence” in AI would more accurately be described as “superficial” intelligence. What it does is quite amazing when it happens to do what you want it to do, But it’s also quite frustrating when it chooses to do something that’s completely different from what you ask, and no amount of fine tuning will stop it doing that and do what you ask it to do.

Male anatomy is always a problem. It either wants to leave it out, make it female, or have it doing something inappropriate. I don’t think it’s deliberate censorship. The problem seems to be that it “”learns” from what it has previously found on public pages of the web. Most of the naked images on those are either female or doing pornographic acts.

I’m in London, which is where Greater Anglia operates from (Liverpool Street or Stratford) and those Hare Fares are very good value when they’re offered, which is not often, so I regularly keep my eyes on them. London to Cromer was £20 return when I went in October (Normal off peak fare is £69)

I was in Cromer only yesterday. A lovely walk along the beach from West Runton to Cromer. Lunch then a walk back.

It also looks like AI can’t create faces at a distance and seemingly censors the male anatomy!

The face thing is fascinating. Sometimes it succeeds in near-perfect faces on everyone in the scene. Often some/all the background faces are screwed up but it’s also no uncommon for all the faces in the foreground to me messed up too.
