Site Maintenance!

I would recommend not posting today until I give the all-clear. For the next few hours, this site will be transferred to a new server. After that, I’ll be doing thorough testing and then (hopefully) announcing that everything is back running again.

Until then, anything posted during the transfer might not make it onto the next server.

I can’t find any problems. Have you found any issues since the server change?

 

Also, is it me, or is this running noticeably faster?

Just refreshed on ‘phone and trying this as a post.

 

yup, faster than it was yesterday when posting.

Maybe a fresh server is more efficient. OR maybe it is a faster machine – I’m still waiting on the spec (it was supposed to be the same just with a much better OS [maybe that’s the speed increase?]).

I can now confirm that the new server is working fine AND is also a fair bit faster than the last one, mostly due to the more recent version of PHP (which runs the site’s scripts).
