      Can anyone identify this photo?

Looks like it could be a rowing team or similar?

I like the picture, full of very nice and very brave young ladies but I can’t help with any detail

I think it’s a side-effect of running the experiments, but if I was the photographer on that one, I would definitely add “and now face the camera and wave your hands in the air for the next one!” at the end.

      See the source image

This is a 2015 photo and I definitely see some matches.

I think it really shows the difference between this site and social media. On Twitter etc, someone would have numbered the girls in each photo and got people to vote for their favourites.

        Sadly you are correct.

Personally I think they are all incredibly brave (and rather gorgeous).

I agree that they are brave but if you look at the second picture it’s interesting in that if you look at the people on the left they are smiling and looking comfortable, but if you look at some of the women on the right side of the picture some of them just looking at their teeth it looks like their teeth is exposed in a way that’s like they are gritting their teeth, like they are somewhat embarrassed or uncomfortable, but they still went through with the pictures so that shows how brave that they are. And you are right they are certainly gorgeous, so they have nothing to be embarrassed about!

I’m reluctant to read too much into that. It was clearly a photoshoot done by a serious photographer. We don’t know if that was the first photo in that pose or the tenth. Some people can hold a natural smile for many photos, others (and I fall into this latter group) definitely cannot and the smile begins to look strained.

True, I’m not great at holding a smile in general, and I think that I do often look uncomfortable in general. At any rate they were still willing to take the picture, so props to them!
