NakedExperiment is transitioning to HTTPS (the more secure version of HTTP). This isn’t the easiest changeover to achieve but as Google is now penalising sites which are still on HTTP it’s something that has to be done. Hopefully, I’ll have the process completed and all the glitches ironed out by tomorrow (Tuesday) lunchtime, but I’ll post here when it’s done.
In the meantime, sorry for any outages or other problems along the way. The NE Blog has already been converted so no longer causes Google Chrome to report that part of the site as “Not secure”.
It’s done. The NakedExperiment community has completed it’s transition to HTTPS and now web browsers should stop reporting the community is being insecure. I’m sure a few of us are insecure, but the site definitely isn’t.
Please send me a private message immediately if you have any problems or error messages. Most web browsers will probably make you log into the site again, just once, but other than that, it should just keep running as before.
