Community Supporter options

KoFi, the system I use for Community Supporter contributions to the site’s running costs, has been adding new features. One is subscriptions.

Rather than buying blocks of Community Supporter status, would being able to sign up for a recurring transaction (eg 1 K0Fi every two months), appeal to anyone?

Also, I’ve had a couple of supporters suggest I should make it 1 KoFi) £3 per month, but I’m worried that would put too many people off becoming supporters.

If there is even a “minimal” reward then it would “be worth it”.  I know you suggested including some videos from you pay-sites, which might also increase traffic to them

The videos would make it more worthwhile for supporters, but unless there’s a huge increase in supporters, I can’t see it having a measurable effect on traffic to AMOC and SGC. I wasn’t expecting anything going back the other way anyhow. It was just a way of attracting more supporters.

This community site needs more support as AMOC and SGC have been largely dormant for a long time now and aren’t really paying for the community site at all anymore. They’re lots of fun for anyone who hasn’t been a member before but I haven’t been in a position to pay for new content in a long time now. At some point this year, I’ll probably do a final revamp of SGC in the same way I recently revamped AMOC. During the revamp, AMOC gained a few new photos for existing photosets and I re-edited the videos (some still to come there too) using better skills and better software. The result was slightly higher quality and some gained a few seconds here and there of footage not previously seen. It would be amazing to be able to do new shoots.

Last year, someone suggested I should shoot an example experiment on video using paid models then put it up on AMOC to demonstrate what happens in experiments. That would be fun and almost certainly a good marketing piece, but it’s beyond my budget right now.

I would be very interested in taking part (as an unpaid model).  As the video is obviously meant public consumption I would want to wear a mask (or similar).

I don’t know how much longer AMOC & SGC are going to be around. With upcoming changes in the law (not just UK law) and the world’s financial situation impacting the adult market generally, I believe the end is nigh for both sites. If that happens, this community will have to cover its own running costs and, as things stand right now, we’re not strong enough to do that.

I hate that but I understand with the time and money required to keep a site going.

Would definitely be a sad day, but it can’t exist as a money pit for @Ed.

There isn’t a real alternative site (I’d which I’m aware) so with out the Supporters side growing #shrug
