I think that some suspension of disbelief is required at numerous people have brought up this topic before about if clothing fabric somehow triggers the allergy then wouldn’t all kinds of fabric do so including couch cushions. Again you have to use suspension of disbelief but I figured that the allergy would perhaps be the result of some kind of advanced nanotechnology virus that can sense when you person is in contact with clothing versus other materials, so I guess you would say it was like a smart virus. Or it could just be left unexplained and maybe it’s almost like a supernatural thing that nobody can explain, but I tend to prefer the nanotechnology virus because I like the idea that somebody actually conceived of this and decided to create technology to make it happen.

And yes the practicalities of dealing with it would be rather daunting and I suppose that it would vary based on country and region. Obviously people who live in cold regions would probably migrate to warmer regions and there would probably be lots of places where the naked people would be quarantined or exterminated, because let’s face it human beings aren’t good at dealing with people’s differences or afflictions especially when it comes to nudity. But I would like to think in most liberal democracies that the naked people would be too big of a crowd to ignore and people would have to try to accommodate them but they would probably be encouraged to just get used to the fact that they are naked and if their lives are a state of humiliation and embarrassment than so be it.
