Naked alone and racing to get home

I read somewhere that they had huge trouble getting enough women for the pilot. Is this new one the start of the series they promised?

I believe it’s new. Not surprised to be fair. Google the last one and you find endless stuff about the 2 women but hardly anything about the men. Obviously I preferred seeing the women but I’d like to know about the experience and how it felt for all 4 of them.

It’s interesting the TV shows you can pitch with just a little nudity as the gimmick!

The new series, It’s more survivor in the wilderness. Bit disappointed tbh, more nudity but apart from the last day, in places where they won’t be seen. Glad I didn’t go forward, I like my comforts.

Perhaps we could do this, without all the discomfort, 4 or 5 miles along a wild beach or something.

i know one lass who was refused at the final selection process. Naked attraction has problems finding enough suitable contestants, but as far as im aware, NARTGH doesnt.

In the grand scheme of things, it will never be a 50/50 gender show. It will be 44/44/10/2 gender show.

I keep wondering if we could do a cut-down version of this (just 1 day or a few hours). Obviously, it would need mixed-gender teams as I don’t believe we would get away with it with all-male teams.

I’d be up for it, I’d have to travel but I reckon a long deserted beach or similar would be ideal. Anywhere suitable near you on the Welsh coast Ed?

There are some places with miles of sand dunes etc. I’d have to do some scouting.

Some years ago, I worked out a route through the suburbs here which would be viable but only for a mixed group. Nude women are so much more accepted by the public generally. I’d give all those participating fake ID lanyards passing it off as a training exercise/challenge and the route allowed for the “getaway” car (as an emergency backup if anything unexpected goes wrong) to stay nearby. The other key was picking the right time of day.

Iwould like to be brave enough to try suburbs, sand dunes might be easier.  Time of day would make the journey there more difficult.

Would everyone walk together or individually?

It would have to be together. Logistically I can’t control outcomes if the participants split up.

I’d definitely try isolated before suburbs were tried. Fake lanyards are probably a bad idea if the police turn up. If we did it for a real charity, there would have to be pictures to prove it which may put some off.

The lanyards are not for the police. That would be a terrible idea. The lanyards are to give the participants legitimacy with any members of the public (which probably wouldn’t happen anyway).

It’s been impossible to get people to take part in experiments and be photographed. I think it’s going to be hard to find enough people to do a challenge like this one without expecting them to be happy about being photographed too.

Having said that, it wouldn’t be possible to stop random passersby recording what they see anyway.

First try I’d suggest beach/dunes. Clothes at other end of walk, minimal/embarrassing wear with Ed such as just a thong for each in case of cover up emergencies/angry public.

I would much prefer to be somewhere where I can keep a car (a people carrier in this case) really nearby. It’s the ultimate safety net if you can just leave within a minute or two.

Yes I watched them online a few weeks ago. Tad disappointed it’s gone more survival, more like naked and afraid than the original pilot.

I don’t do lighting fires, building shelters and cooking roadkill 🙂 naked route across the moors followed by naked glamping I could manage 🙂

I watched the start of the first one but haven’t had time to go back. The slant towards survival seems a little bizarre.

People are carted off with hypothermia in it! Not my idea of fun.

My guess is they are looking for excuses to justify the nudity rsther than celebrating it.
