Sorry you missed it.

The event ran for almost 6 weeks and there was a lot of discussion and updates in the two weeks prior to that.

You won’t get an e-mail unless you are subscribed to the relevant forum (and that’s assuming you receive e-mails from the site – many don’t).

I’m looking to do another one in the first quarter of next year and there are some other events brewing too. I announce them all in the blog before they begin and we usually discuss them at some length for weeks beforehand here.

I’m trying to encourage everyone to visit the community at least once per week.

I’ve definitely had videos appear in search results that say “Not available at your location” in white text on a black screen in the past. It’s not a common occurrence. Videos not being embeddable is much more common.

In the past week, I’ve had to remove 9 embedded video posts as the source videos have been deleted. That’s quite a surge compared to the normal rate. I’m wondering if some EU Vimeo posters are leaving the site?

 

Also, can’t Vimeo users choose which geographic locations their videos are available in? That might account for the different counts for different places.

I’m not offended. Please, don’t worry.

No-one should be sharing photos of other people taken in non-public situations without proof of consent first. I’m sure I’ve already stated this in several places in the forum.

This is also why I require the consent photos for the dares and vote-off events. And why I require consent forms signed in person at the beginning of experiment sessions.

I’m not sure what I can do about that? Providing they aren’t deliberately offensive, everyone has the right to their opinion. That’s mostly what the forums are for (sharing views etc.).
