To all of the Members & Visitors:
What would persuade you to donate a few pounds to cast a set of votes on the contest? (Keeping in mind that it’s a fun way of helping keep the site up and running!)
This question was already asked in the Vote-Off #8 thread but it was suggested that it might attract more replies if I started a new thread instead.

Bouncing ideas on getting more votes:
This is what I could offer to try to bring in more votes. I am willing to use my real first and last name as well as my City and State. Obviously, the search engines will crawl this information. So when someone searches for my name or my City the question will be whether they find a picture of me Clothed or Totally Nude???? The voters get to decide !!!! If you want people who search for me to find me NAKED then you will have to spend some money to buy votes and make it happen!

Posting real names and locations is a ridiculous idea. Yes, you might end up in search engines, but you’d be leaving yourself open to all the freaks out there who could, and probably would, find your details and come knocking on your door. I don’t think you really thought this suggestion through.

I understand why many people would not share their name or other information. I am an open nudist with a passion for embracing the freedom and naturalness of being without clothes. Nudity is a natural part of my life, and I have no hang-ups or reservations about it. I believe that the human body is beautiful in all its forms and that there is nothing shameful about being naked. An open nudist not only embraces the nudist lifestyle but is also very open about it with others, including friends, family, and even the public. Open nudists are likely to participate in public nudist events and often share their nudist activities on social media or other public platforms.
Open nudists are less concerned with who knows about their nudism and are more willing to be seen nude by a broader audience, including in photos or in person.

I suspect you are missing the point. You are quite happy sharing that information but as a way of attracting more people to vote in the event, it doesn’t work if you’re the only one.

Since its mostly men on here, I am thinking it might take some sort of embarrassing forfeit.
Maybe:
Zoomed in very close up photos of their private parts
Collage photo of face with private parts front and rear
Profile name gets changes to real name (first, last)
Person with the most votes can never have their photos removed. They are permanent!
idk…. or a combination of above but would not want to scare off the participants either or they may drop out.
Something that would cause a man to want another man to have to go through an embarrassing forfeit so they spend money to vote for them so they have no choice!

Maybe there could a random upper limit which when triggered could force a full instant reveal on a random player while the rest of the votes carry on as normal – sort of like a bonus round.
Maybe an exposure website could be created where losers are posted with a link back to this site to encourage traffic?

Interesting idea. Would the full instant reveal mean that participant has automatically won? Or would a winner still be chosen from the remaining participants?
I’m not sure what you mean by “an exposure website”? All previous V0te-Offs are still up on their pages here (forever). I’m not buying more websites to put them somewhere else…
In my long experience, male nudity does not encourage traffic. Another problem is male nudity, in general, puts women off visiting the community (so they have told me on many occasions).

The instant one would be in addition to the actual winner (loser?).
I think the immediate priority is to build an audience wether it be male or female, the busier the site, the better!

I’ve spent around a decade trying to attract people to the community, getting people to sign up, persuading people to become supporters, encouraging people to engage with the vote-offs and the master dare list, trying to get people to comment/reply/vote etc. and so on and so on.
I’ve spent (and largely wasted) so much time on other sites, social media, toplists, link exchanges, other communities, classifieds and more. It’s near impossible to get anyone else to recommend the site or events to others. This coming week is busy for me and I don’t know about the week after.

Rather than close-up of genitals which, lets face it, is more an incentive than a forfeit. Is there something “extra” that feels cuncomfortable?
I’m at a loss for ideas, because Ed would need the picture evidence before the Vote-Off starts and there are alreadty some fairly embarassing situations covered by the Master Dare list…-
Requiring the photos in advance does undermine the embarrassment a little as even the winner(s) have to do the forfeit. They just don’t “suffer” it being published.
I still like the idea of themes (ie outdoors or wearing a suit etc.) rather than extra pics on the end but we met a LOT of resistance on that idea.
