Vote-Off #9?

Anyone interested in another Vote-Off?

It takes a while to organise one and Vote-Off #8 has been almost as successful as Vote-Off #1 (and might yet still beat it). This leads me to suspect there might be more interest in doing another one than I would previously have thought.

It so, what theme would be good? What could we do to make #9 different to #8?

If there was some way to get a female participant ? We live in hope! I was going to suggest one woman versus one man but probably the woman would win hands down.

Or a couple? They would have to start off with the same number of clothes.

Or two participants, one stays clothed, removing the other’s clothes in each subsequent photo, but I’m guessing most of us don’t have a suitable partner willing to join in.

What about this for Vote-Off 9?  All participants submit one fully clothed picture and then a set of other photos that are defined by @ed and published prior to the event.  The event lasts for as many rounds as there are photos and the voting for each round is to determine which one of the participants has the current photo displayed for all to see and the rest of the participants never have their version of that photo see the light of day.  Except, for the final round, votes determine which participant will have ALL of their photos put on display.

This makes voting quite interesting.  For some photos, some participants might want to vote to show off their version.  For other photos, they may want to vote to ensure their pic isn’t the one displayed.  I could see there being a LOT of votes in both directions each round which would be fun.  This stays true to the intent of the Vote-Offs that it is votes that determines who is revealed, it just changes it slightly.  I would think that votes cast would need to reset to zero for each round.

The success of this type of Vote-Off would be in the creativity of the set of required photos to enter the event.  Perhaps a mix of pics that participants might not really care if they are displayed, along with several which would be a bit more revealing or embarrassing which a participant may not want to have everyone else see.  It could take some work but each round could include a blurred or redacted version of each person’s photo so that others can decide which one they want to vote to see without blurring.

I think there’s a really good idea here, but I’m confused what the difference is between but I’m not sure of the difference between “published” and “displayed” in this context?

The list of required photos is “published” meaning shown on the website so that everyone knows which photos to submit if they want to participate.  Sorry, I see how that was not very clear.  When votes determine, a photo is “displayed” meaning it is revealed for anyone to see.  So for each round one winning photo would be displayed, and at the final voting round all photos for the winning/losing participant would be displayed/revealed for all to see.

I think having a blurred or redacted version of each photo may encourage more voting, but that would probably take a lot of work.  If this were possible, however, then each round would start with all blurred entries from each participant displayed on the website page and after voting the winning entry would be displayed without any blurring.  Not sure if the remaining blurred entries for that round would just stay blurred or be removed, doesn’t really matter I think.

I would definitely use blurred versions until there’s a “winner”. It’s a few seconds to blur each photo so not a problem.

I’m liking this idea. What does everyone else think?

With so many people having completed parts of the master dare list, most of those taking part in the vote offs have been seen naked multiple times already.

i like the idea that only your photo from that round is displayed. It kinds of lets people skip the whole get someone undressed in multiple stages. Vote off 8 seemed to drag on for a long time in the end. The idea of the winner of each round has that photo shown then move on to the next round means you get a defined number of rounds.
People will know how many rounds they are going to have to vote in. If there are 7 poses then there are 7 rounds.

You have a great thread here on ai generation and there was a comment about maybe using prompted photos to do experiments. Could you use that as the way to get people interested in each round more. Maybe set a pose with a prompt, with all photos being blurred people will see a rough outline of how well the participant met the pose. But they will also know what they should be getting from each round before they see the pictures.round 1 pose clothed all photos are shown.

round 2 pose looking in a mirror while taking your top off over your head.
round 3 start at the camera while bent over with your trousers/ shorts/ skirt around your ankles

round 4 Same as before but underwear around ankles etc….

Simple again but maybe like a tennis set each round must have a clear winner by a set number of votes. Like first person to 6 votes with a clear 2 vote lead. If they don’t have a 2 vote lead then the round keeps going he following day. Someone may want their photo to win so by more votes for them selves.
Have a set time of each day votes have to be cast by. 1 hour before that time you can release the vote counts so far. Then people can choose if they want to want to vote for one person to end the round or vote for others to continue the round longer.

Could there be an extra element to the votes to make them more valuable…

If i read the rules right. You only show the photo of the winner from that round and if they hadn’t won a previous round they would still only show this rounds photos and not all their previous rounds?

if someone wins a round with say 10 or more votes and they have a clear 4 vote majority then all their previous photos get shown as well. Kind of an incentive to stack the voting in the last hour.

I anyone wins any round with 20 votes regardless of majority they have to do a Skype call with Ed and do a strip naked interview to be recorded and shared for patreon members.
5 minutes at most for the interview, start clothed and the for the first 2 minutes every 30 seconds you have to strip an item off while still answering questions. Then you’ll spend about 2 minutes completely naked being interviewed by Ed.

maybe those videos should be recorded up front not sure how that works best. I like the idea it’s already done but I also like the idea of the questions being related to to rounds so far and the persons comfort levels now having been voted so much.

all numbers listed above are just random as I have no idea how many votes people got before I may have set the bar low or high. I think the interview could also be a good idea for the eventual winner of the last round as well.

I would be interested in this type of event, although the potential for a naked interview is a bit daunting, I suppose that’s the whole point is to have the community in control over whether you are faced with such a task.

If this didn’t go ahead as an idea for  vote off 9 is there something in this as a series of content for the blog?

Obviously the person being interviewed needs to be naked at some point but Interviewer doesn’t need to share video of themselves.

just a patreon only blog video. Maybe the video can have a small stripping challenge to it. Like start the interview but have a set of words that when used by the person being interviewed they have to strip. You can have the list of words pre selected and use them in the video to put up before the interview starts then tick them off as the interview goes on. I’d suggest 10 words or so related to the site or nudity in general.
The original idea was to talk about the feelings during vote off. Not sure what an interview not related to something specific would look like but happy to test it out for patreon pay wall only content.
