All day today, someone’s been trying to crack my admin password but logging in with thousands of different passwords per hour. The security system keeps blocking it and only an idiot would have “admin” as a username anyway.
Whoever it is, isn’t going to get into the site, but things might be a little slow around here until they finally give up.

Things might be going slow again today. Last night the security system blocked over 1000 IP addresses. Someone is desperately trying to log into my admin account with a brute-force attack. They are a LONG way from getting in, but with several attempted logins per minute, it’s putting an extra strain on the server and I’m considering switching it to lockdown mode (making it much less tolerant of failed attempts and restricting the range of countries that can see the site.)

The attack is STILL ongoing. I don’t know how long it will take them to give up?

It would be good if your security system gradually made all their clothes disappear, even the ones in the wardrobe. Maybe it could start by emptying the wardrobe, without them noticing, and finish with what they were wearing. Maybe it could start with everyone else in their house, so their actions would lead to their partner/friends/family/colleagues being stripped naked, one click at a time. It may happen too quickly though, so maybe every time they (or, more likely, their software) try to log in, your system picks a random number and if it’s in a certain range, one garment vanishes.

It’s happening again. I don’t know if it’s the same person or not, but they’re going for the same non-existent username.
