Rogues Gallery

Conscious that all the photographs and videos are all over the place in the blog and in old and current dares and vote offs, I suggested photos and videos be attached to profiles the other month, but you couldn’t do that with the way the site is set up.

Would it be possible to put up a members only rogues gallery where we add all the pictures and videos. I don’t mind trawling through the old forum posts to find them if that is something that is doable.

When you say a gallery, do you mean another forum? I don’t know if it’s possible to add a gallery page where more than one person can add photos. I’d have to do some research there. How would that interrelate to the existing forum structure?

I’m not taking stuff out of the blog to post elsewhere on the site. That’s only going to confuse things.

I think John means to add another tab on the members profile page that contains a list of links to the photos that have been uploaded by that member.

Obviously I don’t how how the page works, just trying to see if we can find a way to access pictures more readily.

It’s been at the back of my mind for a while, I think it was Susan wanted to see some pictures I’d posted and I couldn’t remember where I’d posted them

Just seen the original dares pages have gone, that’s a lot of pictures of all of us lost 🙁

I’m in a group that has a gallery which works in two ways – members can simply upload straight to the gallery – or when members upload a photo to a group or blog or their timeline, it is automatically also added to the main gallery. The member can or not add a description and other members can both like or add a comment.

This group also uses the ‘community’ platform. – community.naturistgo.com

What original dare pages, @seasider? The dare challenges are still there. Or are you thinking of something else?

I’ve been trying to check what’s no longer there and all I can find is the menu links to the dare challenges don’t work. I’ll be fixing that but it will be a few days. The dare challenges are still there (along with all the photos).

@nakedmadcat You are right. I uploaded some profile photos and they immediately went into that sites main photo gallery. I am now Naked to everyone on the site! I don’t have a problem with that but it’s interesting how fast it can make you famous  (in the Nude).. lol

Also members could add photos that are not a specific MDL challenge or vote off, but gradually getting used to taking and sharing nude selfies or photos that don’t involve a dare or challenge that may be intimidating?

We used to have groups here (about 15 of them, if I remember correctly [with galleries etc]), but in the months after I added the forums, it became apparent that the site was too complicated, too large and activity here was too spread out. There were many debates about what improvements could be made and what should be removed and the groups were probably the biggest removal. I did move a great number of the group photos into the forums instead.
