Poll for NON-Community Supporters.

Like any community, this site needs visitors. Regular visitors and people who spread the word about this community are crucial to keeping this community alive but our treasured Community Supporters directly contribute a small amount to the actual running costs, bandwidth fees and server rental that keeps the site up and running for us all to enjoy.

If you are not one of our Community Supporters, I’m asking you to take a few seconds to vote in this poll to give me some idea as to why. This could help establish how to get more supporters for the community and keep it running for years to come. Thank you!

Since I posted this poll over a week ago, over 400 people have visited the community forums. Sadly I don’t have any way to seeing how many viewed this thread but I did make it sticky in an attempt to highlight it.

It’s hard to find out what non-Supporters are looking for if only 1 replies. 🙁

How short? It’s a good idea.

 

My worry would be someone giving flat answer just to be able to download all the videos etc. in the hours/days they get free and not engaging.

Also, people who get stuff free are far more likely to give it away to others (upload to other sites etc.).

Like any site, anonymity becomes more difficult when you register. But Ed also takes the same risk as Community Supporters and supporting something you enjoy (or get something out of even if you feel there could be more benefits) might allow it to continue – whereas not supporting it means it is more likely to fail and disappear.

Extra benefits could be made available as Ed has indicated he is willing to consider adding more. But what other benefits would you like?

The current exchange rate is £1= $1.36,  or $1 = £0.74. So 1 KoFi = £3 = $4.05 USD.

The feedback could be important but with 200+ people per week visiting the site, 7 votes in 16 months isn’t great.
