Oldest and Youngest

As you can probably see, I’m an outlier, which is a word that means “I was once nearly caught naked in a hotel corridor” 🙂

In a Vote-Off event, would being younger be an advantage? I can see how younger people are seen as more attractive and might therefore get more votes, but there also seems to be something more embarrassing for older people losing their clothes like that, so I can see voters wanting to cause that embarrassment too.

I wouldn’t think about it in terms of “wow, I’m so much better looking” but rather in terms of “oh my god, I’m naked in front of my elders” type of thing. I think it would be more embarassing on a way since ism an outlier being so young. Don’t know if that makes sense? Though, I am sure, for an older person being stripped naked in front of a younger person, there is some embarassment there too!

Obviously, it’s a sweeping generalisation, but most of society sees younger bodies as more attractive than older bodies.

I completely see why being an outlier makes it more embarrassing, either older or younger.

Just thinking of “an older person being stripped naked in front of a younger person”, Howard Stern (who comes across as quite unpleasant, but a lot of people seem to go along with his games for some reason) did a show in which mothers and daughters stripped each other naked, which was enjoyable(!). I wonder if he is effectively doing experiments to see how far people will go to get their moment of fame. Quite a long way, evidently.

I hadn’t thought about this before but if I was in an experiment, I’d assume I was going to be one of the older ones there, so if I was going to strip or be stripped by anyone, they’d be quite a bit younger than me. The thought of stripping someone much (decades) younger than me rings a bit of an alarm bell for some reason, even though – obviously – they’d be a fully consenting adult. I wouldn’t mind what age of person stripped me though, and one reason I don’t mind getting naked in front of people is that different body ages and types are all attractive in their own way, and hiding would suggest the opposite.

Everyone has the right to be stripped naked and tied to a lamp-post, whether it’s their eighteenth birthday, their stag/hen party, or their retirement!!!!!

I’m 59, suspect I’m not the oldest though, one of the blokes in the 1st Experiment was in his 60’s back then
