Here’s brief video from WNBR Brighton this year. It’s not a great video (to be blunt) but it does illustrate a key point. As the photographer walks among the naked participants of the event, one this is hard to miss – almost all the participants are male.
I’m wondering if there is a tipping point where once a certain proportion of participants are male, women feel intimidated (or just out of place) and stop taking part?

Ed I think you’ve posted the wrong video?

I noticed the same at the WNBR Brussels last year, only 4 or 5 women were participating, with 3 of them brave enough to take their bottoms off. This also reflect the audience here on nakedexperiment…

This guy found some women to interview but it’s hard to find many in the general scenes.

That’s Lucy Muse, in both pics. As far as I know, she attends several WNBRs when she can.

Thanks Ed – definitely worth a google 🙂

Like the previous one I posted, the interviewer (Lucy, this time) manages to find enough women to speak to. There are more women in the background in this video but still definitely male majority overall.

Well, I’ve been looking at a lot of Lucy Muse’s work now, partly for obvious reasons but mainly because she has such a healthy attitude to being naked as a way of exploring herself and the situations she encounters or sets up. She seems remarkably good at getting friends and family to strip too. Even her experiments with pornography seem to be exactly that – experiments that have a purpose and an outcome.
In some ways she reminds me a tiny bit of Jo Guest (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jo_Guest) but I’m showing my age a bit now! The big difference is that Jo for some reason always played a slightly dimwitted version of herself (maybe that’s what she thought her audience wanted) whereas Lucy always comes across as intelligent and thoughtful in what she is doing, as if she has a purpose. She’s exploring ideas.
