It looks very masculine to me but I’m not a designer. See what others think. Will it deter women even more than ever?

I’m still trying to work out if the new background effect is suitable and eye-catching, or just a little creepy?

I’m trying to emphasise the “Naked” part of the site. I’d tried a few variations of colour schemes but nothing worked well. A background image seemed a more distinctive way to go.

I quite liked the mosaic of pictures, but if their time is past then that’s fine.

I would also have said the angular font, particularly in italics might be a little forceful, but @Susan said she likes it so maybe all is good

I liked the mosaic too (I guess I’m biased though as I created it!) but I’ve had a few comments over the last couple of years saying it made NE look like a porn site. Also, the way laws on adult content online are going, it’s probably wise to avoid nudity on the entrance/landing page.

 

I will be creating some advertising banners for the site (to appear on other sites) soon and I expect to use a new version of the photo mosaic effect then, it’s more eye-catching and that’s important for banners.

 

My wife said that italic looked friendlier than non-italic.
