Good idea.

Although my employer has put in our HR guide that we can’t be “inappropriate” so the risk of discovery carries a greater risk of HR “penalty” rather than just “being caught” – but we don’t have CCTV cameras everywhere!

 

Would need careful handling though – what of those who work from home? Or in any environment that others may not consider a work place? Within my photos on the MDL is one where I am with four others having just finished filming a scene for a feature film where my character was fully naked – that’s a workplace! (It’s okay, I wouldn’t use the same image twice – but it’s an example of where others may ask “is that at work?”).

So “naked at work” i.e. “ work being any place you are paid to be”.

We have to accept that not everyone will be able to do all the dares. People in the US often cannot do the public stuff. People who don’t live near a train line can’t do the level-crossing ones etc. etc. People who work at home will struggle with any kind of “Naked in Work” dare. I don’t think a photo of anyone on their sofa or at a dining table, using a laptop, will cut it.

This would be the easiest dare ever for me. One of the benefits of covid, I’ve worked from home since 2020 🙂

If we don’t get some new blood soon, give it a few years and the dares will be naked in your old people’s home, on a mobility scooter etc 🙂

My goodness, this picture (the one posted by Pete that I think began this thread) reminds me of one my posts about being naked at work in the early hours of the morning, like 4 or 5 am, and walking around the perimeter of the. If there were offices along the right side of the corridor pictured in this photo, and on the left cubicles for secretarial staff (as the photo appears to show), it would be very, very close to the layout of the office where I took my naked walk..

I think part of it, for me at least, was (1) getting further and further away from my clothes (a common element I think), and (2) walking through an environment that provided no real refuge if someone had unexpectedly appeared and in which being naked was totally alien.

Thanks for posting this picture, it brought back even more vivid memories.

Great story.  Obvious question: what were you doing in the office at 5.00am?

But walking totally nude (I hope no shoes?) around the office – what a thrill?!  How far away were your clothes (at the farthest point)?

If I’d had the courage (and I was younger and thinner!) I think I would have walked around the office, starting fully clothed, then slowly performing a striptease as I walked around the silent offices, tossing my clothes aside – that would have made it much more difficult to get dressed if someone had arrived super-early for work!

I think I’ve told this story before in another thread. I used to be a manager for Sainsburys. My then girlfriend did the store layouts. It was some time over Xmas when we were closed. There was some reason, maybe a problem with the alarms, but 2 people had to be in the store, even though it was closed, we both had stuff to do, so we volunteered.

The store manager knew about us, but wasn’t bothered, he knew we’d do our jobs, whatever else we got up to.

My girlfriend bragged that she knew where all the cameras were, I did know but wasn’t allowed to tell her, she didn’t know about 2 🙂

So I challenged her to stand somewhere at the front of the store where she knew that she could get to the staff room without passing a camera.

She actually picked a good spot, or I wouldn’t have done it. I told her to take her clothes off, tied her hands behind her back with some cable ties I’d grabbed, and told her that her clothes would be in the canteen.

She arrived 5 minutes later, quite flustered, presumably having had some issues opening doors 🙂 this was pre mobile phones with video cameras or I’d have filmed it.

In the canteen were nearly full length windows, I had opened the curtains. Outside was a public footpath, albeit one that almost no one ever used.

I told her that she could either stay like that until she managed to free herself, or stand in the window for 5 minutes.

I was ready to come and move her if someone did appear, but she didn’t know that.

Although she was nervous and felt shame, we both thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

I sometimes, but not often, wish we were still together. She would definitely have joined and taken part in this group, including the master dare list.

I always thought about getting naked at work, the ‘closest’ I got was when I once opted to change in the lady’s rest room and I stayed in my bra and underwear for a few moments wondering ‘her how would they react if I worked like this today’ before putting my other outfit back on 😁

Play with the concept Diana. I don’t know your shape, and for some women the top would be impossible as it could be immediately obvious and could get you in trouble.

But who would know but you if you didn’t wear pants? I would imagine under a skirt or dress, that would provide a secret thrill without ever really being on danger of being exposed

If I follow you correctly if I went bra less people would recognize lol, bottomless though under a skirt could be… naughty and though I have gone ‘commando’ under a pair of jeans I never did that with a skirt or dress.

Woman I worked with confessed at one drunken “Thirsty Thursday” (a regular pub crawl my colleagues anxiously looked forward to) that she never, ever wore underwear.  In the office she wore tight jeans and I wondered whether that must have been really uncomfortable, what with all the seams?  Or maybe it was stimulating?  All I know is, when she walked passed me in the office, I’d think, “There’s only a thin layer of denim separating me from your bare arse!”   I never found out if she was telling the truth!

Reminds me of a male friend who worked as a buyer in the head office of a major clothing shop.

It was in the days long before mobile phones and he was frequently out in the evenings, so the best way to contact him was to ring him via the company switchboard. But he seemed to be the stand in person for anybody that was absent. The problem with that is that he moved offices frequently, and the switchboard never knew where to find him. So we had to ask for a specific department.

I remember one day him saying “if you need to contact me next week, I’ll be working in Ladies Underwear“.

I’m sure he didn’t look quite like this:

But, if you ever come to England, get yourself a job in the head office of a major clothing retailer, and maybe you too can “work in Ladies Underwear” 🙂

Diana, yes pretty much what I meant. The gf I was on about earlier did find it exciting not wearing any underwear at all, but no bra would have got her in trouble at work.

She regularly wore no underwear at all out of work, and was both excited and embarrassed by the attention no bra got her.

She also found it affirming. She was good looking, but had never considered herself to be.

A bit tougher for men, but I regularly go out commando in tightish black or grey sweatpants/tracksuit trousers, and it is pretty obvious to anyone who looks that I’m commando.

I may be able to manage in the grounds at work, but inside would be a no no.

Still, just because one of us may not want to do a challenge is not a reason to stop others doing it, so go for it.

I know not everyone can do all the dares. Some people live in countries where outdoor nudity is illegal. Others work at home so don’t have the opportunity to take photos in work.

Having said that, I’ll need more than one person to show interest to make it worth adding the dare.
