I’m not sure how long I can keep this up, but I’m going to attempt to post at least 3 categories of photos, 1 video and some other posts every single day. The aim is to make it worth visiting the community every day. If I can get a lot more people into the habit of visiting daily, there should be more people online on average and a great chance people will be online at the same time.
Seeing other people only (rather than finding yourself alone here) and occasionally getting immediate replies to posts and comments, should encourage members to stick around a bit longer which, in turn, improves things again. My hope is that new visitors will see more of an active community when they visit and feel more inclined to check out the forums and other activity here – and maybe return for more visits too.
The rate of new visitors isn’t bad but around 95% of them never return.
If anyone wants to help with this by visiting more often and interacting more (and maybe posting photos, videos etc., that would be a great help. Any community is only as good as its members.

I’ve been analysing visitor statistics. Of all the people who visited this community in May, only 6.2% came back in June.
The best advertising in the world isn’t going to counter that loss rate. Do I need a different approach to the community?

A drop in total monthly visitors from May to June of very nearly 20%.
Am I flogging a dead horse here?
