Getting more women to join

Surprisingly few members have followed us from the old site to this one, which is a shame. Worse than that, almost no women at all have made the transition. Now, I know that people don’t always visit every day, or even every week, so maybe more regulars will turn up in the next few days, but I still need to do a lot more to make this community appealing to women.

I wish I knew whether women are failing to find this community, or not wanting to join the community when they find it. According to Google, about 11% of visitors are female and that’s higher than the ratio of female members.
