@shynudedude83They were really casual about and comfortable with being naked and most didn’t seem to find it unusual.

The Germans, like most Europeans, are not too fussed about nudity.

Germany in the 1980s would often show casual nudity in mainstream newspapers and magazine (no blurring or censorship).
France in the early 80s would sometimes have full-frontal female nudity on billboards beside the road. One year they had a teenage girl advertising a “naked” yoghurt product and the billboard was a photo of her from the knees up, completely naked, just holding up the yoghurt pot and smiling.
Holland was also very free and easy with nudity.

When it comes to the UK, I think the BBC has tended to give a false impression of our country’s attitude to nudity over the years. The other channels have, at various times, experimented with shows including nudity (with mixed success) but the BBC has always been very unkind to those shows.
The average attitude to seeing nudity in the UK is much more accepting than the BBC would have us believe. Unexpected nudity often doesn’t cause outrage and distress.

@shynudedude83It’s ironic that in the United States we have a sex obsessed culture but we are so uptight about nudity where I remember a few years ago a one second nip slip during the Super Bowl was a huge controversy and people treated it like it was the most horrible thing that has ever happened in the history of the world. I kind of really wish I lived in Europe where you can have hard-core nudity on regular television. Then again I suppose that the puritan repression drives a lot of the kink, so I suspect that in Europe there are probably fewer people who get a buzz just from being naked.

There’s certainly a lot of people here in the UK who get a buzz from nudity. TV shows like Naked Attraction seem to bear that out too (shown on normal terrestrial television free channel).
