Sorry if this duplicates, I can’t see the text I posted.

Let’s have some pictures in this thread, the weather was shocking last year.

I normally stay quite close to the back door, aiming to be brave and mow the lawn.

I will be wearing shoes as I have a dog, and hygiene would be an issue barefoot.

@john @seasider: Shoes make perfect sense for operating a lawnmower. Protective gloves and eye protection are probably advisable too.

Definitely don’t try operating a strimmer, fork or spade without shoes 🙁

Shoes make sense for stones etc, but you can go round and pick up the poo, like you would have to if it wasn’t your garden.

I do but on grass you never get all of it.

                Hot noisy is your lawnmower?

I would feel happier doing something quieter. I’d wonder if anyone hearing the Lawnmowet might investigate? I don’t garden at all though.

Lawnmowers are common in the summer, part of the sounds of a weekend summer afternoon.

I must admit I do sometimes glance to see who is cutting their lawn, so yeah possibly.

I do need to do some weeding, and paint the fences, so they are possible.

I don’t think I’d risk using the hedge trimmer naked though, don’t want anything cutting off 🙂

In ended up posting about this on Facebook — now that you can comment as anonymous in some threads!

I gave the original poster the link up this forum. They were anonymous too.

I honestly can’t remember how I found this website/forum in the first place, but it seems pretty well hidden as the “naked” in the web address gets it blocked in searches. That’s probably just as well, since it means I’m far less worried about who might find me.

You probably all know each other but are afraid to discuss the subject 🙂

I wonder if it was group admins rather than Facebook, as there are loads of posts yearly about naked gardening day, the naked bike rides have their own pages, and although I’m not sure I’d go, there’s a group I’m in called West Midlands naked ramblers 🙂

It’s possibly their ai which doesn’t seem very intelligent.

I once got a Facebook ban for posting a song via YouTube link, the cover of which apparently showed too much flesh.

They didn’t seem concerned when they took the bands money to promote and advertise the album 🙂

I still have a sentimental attachment to Facebook, I was there at the start, however poor it has become.

Twitter less so, I binned it when the fascists took over.

I’m on blue sky threads and insta, but I don’t use them much currently.

I think it depends on who you follow on Twitter. I find it’s mostly a lovely community (certainly amongst the nudist/exhibitionist people I follow). I don’t follow fascists, etc., so I don’t see their posts. I’m also quite trigger-happy with blocking, but that’s mostly spammers. The need to block has reduced over time as the problematic people left.

Instagram just doesn’t work, and the website won’t let me register. Isn’t BlueSky dead? I haven’t looked recently, but the last few times I checked, there seemed to be nothing but spam on there. Facebook had to go because of all the vicious people on there.

If it were up to me, I wouldn’t bother with social media at all.

I went on Facebook for the first time in a month today. Don’t like it at all.

I use x a lot to stay in touch with news from communities.

Blue sky just feels rubbish, I haven’t been on in a while it just seemed to be full of people hating on x instead of posting anything real.

Threads and insta I never go into and with a growing dislike for the meta universe I refuse to use them.

I guess social sites are meant to be social. If you don’t feel part of a community you can  be elsewhere so each to their own.

I spend a lot more time on discord now following communities on there.

Not my garden but was checking out some flowers last night. It was very cold in the wind.

I had to do mine the week before because we were away on 3rd – and it’s taken a while to get round to posting.

I don’t really garden — but I was in my garden!
