I’ve probably got some pics somewhere too. One summer during lockdown both houses either side of me were empty. Now there’s a young family one side and a woman and her 2 daughters the other, so less so these days as although I’m not bothered about people seeing me. I don’t wish to offend.

I’m in the North West close to the Welsh border, there are nude beaches near Harlech and on Anglesey.

There’s also a nudist club somewhere near Macclesfield.

I really should get this crossed off my bucket list, but as per my comment above, there are so many toxic blokes that a man there by himself might seem a bit creepy. I guess I should just go.

Never sunbathed naked but stripped nude in a public park on a hot summers day years ago (back in the last century!).  Fun, risky, thrilling.

I hate tan lines and a\I m lucky enough to have a private garden. When on holiday I use nudist beaches through France and Spain regularly

I have mixed views on tanlines. I burn easily and with a family history of skin issues related to sun exposure, I avoid getting a tan myself. On the other hand, there is an element of thrill when a naked person has tanlines as it implies they don’t normally expose themselves. I’m not sure what that means.

I am Victor, from Australia, I live nude on a farm most of the year. I do not spend a lot of time in the direct sunlight, so rarely burn, and never seriously burn. I have had melanomas, so am aware of the danger. However the sheer pleasure of living nude, and the ongoing health benefits, places the onus on me to take care, be aware, and I have some good quality skin repair cream just in case.

It’s been suggested that we add a “Sunbathing naked” to the Master Dare List.

I like the idea but I’m not sure it deserves it’s own category as it overlaps heavily with other dares there.

With several occurrences of skin cancer in my family, I tend to stay out of the sun where I can. Sunbathing isn’t something I ever do.

I’m afraid I’m the saddest Nudest of all time; I’ve an autoimmune issue that causes severe skin reaction to excessive UV exposure. Sunbathing or any outdoors activities, even in shorts, is definitively ‘excessive’ to the extreme 😔

And I’ve not heard of any ‘Indoors’ nudist/naturist resorts, hence my ofttimes self description of Closet Nudist.

Yes. In our garden, most of it is private,  on nudist beaches, on deserted beaches and at nudist resorts and spas. On holidays we try and book villas with own private pool and garden.

I try to take my sunbathing fully naked as often as possible. In the nature to always put away all clothes.

It really is one of the best feelings, especially swimming nude.

I wonder if, with all our knowledge now about sun damage and skin cancer, whether sunbathing in general is reducing?

With my family history, I’ve always tended to stay out of the sun.

Which beach was that? This is the beach in front of Lara Restaurant, Lara Bay but not Lara Turtle Beach

This was at Cape Greco. I didn’t swim nude there because there were too many textiled people around and nobody else swimming nude. So instead I found a quiet spot to sunbathe nude after swimming.

But I did find several nude places to swim in Cyprus:

• Turtle Beach (the one near Konnos Beach in the east of the island) where there was a very friendly young male-female German couple, topless with their nude toddler, and I also saw sea turtles
• Landou Beach near Ammos Kambouri Beach where there was nobody else swimming in my spot, but a few other nude men in a different spot
• Governor’s Beach where there were a few other nude men here and there
• Pissouri Beach where there were a bunch of nude people on the nudist end of the beach, mostly gay men but also some nude heterosexual couples and a woman in her fifties who was getting it on with at least two other men

Yes, that was the message. I tried re-sizing twice. I’ll have another go.

Check the file size before attaching it. I find 2048×1536 images mostly take less than 0.5Mb. You should be able to get to 4K type images (3,840×2,160 pixels) in 2MB. There’s no point going higher than that as most people won’t have screens that can cope.

It also depends on the file type. A JPG will usually have lossy compression, so the file size can be small, but quality is lost which cannot be regained when the file is decompressed.

A PNG will be several times larger for the same image size, but only non-lossy compression is used — so when decompressed, the original image quality is maintained.

He’s uploading (or trying to) jpgs. I usually use a JPG compression ratio of around 20-30. I know many phones default to much higher (ie larger file sizes) but Android and iOS are obviously trying to sell cloud storage. Anything more than around 50 is basically a waste.

I have sunbathed countless times on nude beaches and in my garden.

But the best one was a day in the park with a friend. We didn’t even talk about it. It just felt natural to strip naked and sunbath ln the park. And it wasn’t a park where you would expect to see someone naked. Many people were passing by. People could easily avoid us. But the interesting part was noone did. They all walked very close by. Like it was completely normal. Some ignored us, some openly looked at us. Some smiled to us.
