Naturism is quite different to what we do, I started through this site, more with the thrill of being caught or seen naked, and that we still worry about taboos enforced from childhood, whereas with naturism, no one cares as no one is wearing any clothes.
As times gone on, I’ve got braver, regularly wandering about the house, or the partially overlooked garden naked, and I’ve joined British Naturists.
I look upon it as completely separate from this page, two different types of nudity I guess.
I’m forcing myself to try new things this year, so I’m off to Clover Hall Spa on Thursday, a naturist hotel and spa, a bit of a trek as it’s in Birmingham, but looking forward to it.
I’m not staying over, just having a spa day, last minute decision, and didn’t have time to arrange someone to look after the dog.
Highly unlikely I’ll get any pictures with the need to respect other people’s privacy, and the fact that my phone will probably be in a locker, but I’ll let you know what it’s like and if it’s worth a visit.
l’ve also just discovered that there are naked swims on a Sunday at a baths in the Potteries, which is only 20 miles from me 🙂

I’m also within reach of “The Potteries” at a stretch I suspect. And I’m equally unsure if I’d be more at home in a naturist environment. I don’t want to “get caught” but I can’t exactly claim it as a way of life either.
I’m interested in this overlap, the challenge of first times etc. -

The swim I’ve found near me is at Jubilee Baths ST5 1HG, 7.30 to 8.30. Every fortnight on a Sunday, it is on this Sunday coming.
I appreciate that you need to be secretive regarding your exact location, but there are other swims that may be a tad nearer but not too close to you, if you indicate North South east or west of the potteries I can have a look on the BN website for you.
I would say that there seem to be a surfeit of men at these events, I doubt that you would get unwanted attention, but only fair to warn you.

The spa review will have to wait for another day. I was in a smash on the M6 today, on the way to the spa.
I seem to be ok, though still shocked, and my necks a bit stiff, but my car is a write off.

Motorway crashes scare me. I’ll be on motorways for about 8 hours on the weekend (traffic dependent). Actually driving past Cheshire at some point. Next time I’m ony own going that way I’ll let you know. Have family coming with me this time.
Hope you’re ok post crash. Not.feeling it too much.

Thanks, I’m feeling that I was lucky. My car spun on some oil, I braked at the wrong time, and was then hit in the rear, but if I’d been hit a couple of seconds later it would have been the drivers door that got hit, and I wouldn’t have been lucky.
May nip up a and e later if my neck gets any worse, but still here to annoy you all 🙂

Spent a fair few hours on the m6 today including the section you must have been on. Didn’t see any oil but some very stupid drivers out there today.
Some throwing rubbish on to the carriageway. But the worst was people swapping lanes after overtaking but pulling back over far too soon. I was always taught not to move until the car was in the rear view mirror not just the side mirror. I think a lot of people just don’t know that method.-

Recently I’ve been seeing a lot of people who don’t seem to know they can adjust the driver’s seat to allow them to see over the steering wheel, people driving at night with no lights on, people driving in clear weather with foglights on and people driving wearing headphones. These things aren’t new but they seem to be much more common than they used to be. Also, why have people begun stopping about 2 car lengths before the line at traffic lights??#
Sorry. Rant over.

I used to drive far more regularly on the M6, and living close to it, I see most of the reports about crashes.
I avoided if possible for a while, as I was starting to feel that here was every chance that one day I would be involved.
There is a lot of bad driving these days, I try and be risk averse, but this was just one of those things, and I’m still here.
When I get a new car, I’ll try and get back to the spa, also I’ve discovered naked swims near me, so will try and get and report back.

I looked up the spa place. Were you going alone or with someone? Might be interesting to meet up there.
my local naked swim is shut currently, I have found a few others nearby and the place that does the naked heart walks near me has open water naked swims as well so might try and go there at some point.
