They mentioned team bonding. I wonder if that’s another reason that the student theatre companies perform nude.

It seems reasonable to assume that gives them a shared experience in common, so something to bond over.

In my experience, lots of people would like to try public nudity or similar but are just too shy or don’t have the opportunity to try it out. Lots of people don’t want to admit that they like being seen naked, but something like a charity calendar gives them an excuse to try it without seeming like a pervert.

Hey @Sian are you up for posting a picture here?  You could wear a bikini rather than being nude if that makes you feel more comfortable, then we can tell you how great you look… just a thought
