I did a little bit of tuning (but not much) because in the initial attempts (with no year specified) AI was generating skimpy modern bikinis and omitting the men altogether:
I added the year 1920 hoping to get old fashioned swim suits for the women but they still came low cut and occasionally naked. I’ve since found frumpy works better, especially if a photo of a 1920 bathing suit is uploaded as a reference.
Better faces can sometimes be achieved by “inpainting” — highlighting just one face at a time and describing that face alone. It doesn’t always work, but because the AI is now concentrating on only that face, it will often be able to improve it.
