Participation application form

Sorry it’s taken so long to get the application form for participating in experiments and games etc. I’ve spent most of the last three days working on behind the scenes stuff to keep the community reliable, speedy and, above all, secure.

I don’t talk about it much, but this community experiences something like 20-30 malicious attacks a day with people trying to get into the admin interface, mess with core files or access the database. On top of everything else I do on this site, I have to keep the site secure from those attacks. Sometimes that’s a full-time job in itself. It’s annoying that I cannot be as active as I would like, but security has to come first.
